Art Print: Saint Paisios

The original image was hand painted in oils on a canvas by the hand of Kathryn. 

How it is made:

All mounted prints are handmade and made to order.

I begin with a cradled birchwood panel, it is sanded and then the wood is sealed. Next, multiple thin layers of red paint are applied and while this cures for a few days, the image is printed, sealed and then carefully mounted onto the birchwood and put in a press overnight to ensure good adhesion. The final step is to seal it with a final premium, museum grade protective finish and allow it to cure for 48 hours. Then it is ready to packaged and shipped to you.  

A note about handmade:

Because this creation is birthed entirely by my human hands - it carries its own living heartbeat. You may notice subtle variations in the wood’s grain, texture, or color. You may notice slight imperfections and brush marks. These are not flaws or defects; they are the unique fingerprints of nature and the beautiful nuances of the human touch. They give your piece its individual soul, ensuring it belongs truly and uniquely to you.
